In May, Houston, it's time to meet again, old friends. Mascot Technology will once again showcase its presence at the 2026 American OTC Oil Show. As a benchmark in the global oil and gas industry, OTC brings together our most important customers and the forefront challenges. This year, we will still bring our star products - sealing rings and springs - and wait for you at booth 3632.
About the Exhibition The OTC (Offshore Technology Conference) is the largest and most influential industry event in the field of global offshore oil and gas resource development, often hailed as the "Oscar" of international offshore oil and gas technology. Founded in 1969, the conference is held every May at NRG Park in Houston, the "Energy Capital" of the United States. The 57th OTC in 2026, themed "Leading Global Energy Transformation", is expected to attract over 30,000 energy professionals from about 100 countries and regions, and approximately 2,350 exhibitors. The exhibition not only covers the entire industrial chain of traditional oil and gas exploration, drilling, and production, but also focuses on emerging energy topics such as offshore wind power, carbon capture, and hydrogen energy. It serves as a core platform for technological exchange, business cooperation, and trend release in the global energy industry.
Exhibition Information Dates: May 4–7, 2026 Venue: NRG Park, Houston, USA Mascot Booth: Center Hall 3632-3
Exhibition Highlights
Seals
Specifically engineered for the harsh operating conditions of the oil and gas industry, we will showcase our full range of sealing solutions on site:
Core Materials: High-performance materials such as PTFE, PEEK, polyurethane, and UHMWPE, precisely matched to different media and temperature scenarios.
Operating Conditions: Suitable for deep-sea drilling, high-pressure fracturing, downhole tools, wellhead equipment, and other applications — offering corrosion resistance, wear resistance, and creep resistance.
Precision Springs
Small as they are, springs play a critical role in the proper operation of pumps, valves, downhole tools, and seal compensation mechanisms. We will exhibit a variety of precision spring products suitable for the oil and gas industry on site:
Wave springs and spiral springs – ideal for seal preload and valve compensation where axial space is limited.
Canted coil springs – serving as the core elastic element of Variseal® to provide constant radial force.
Die springs – meeting the heavy-load buffering requirements of drilling equipment.
Retaining rings / snap rings – used for axial positioning in hydraulic cylinders and downhole tools.
Special springs for Variseal® – with a minimum wire diameter of 0.01 mm, satisfying the elastic demands of precise, miniature spaces.
