Torsion Spring

A torsion spring is a mechanical component that stores elastic potential energy by twisting and deforming around its own axis, and returns to its initial twisted state with elasticity after the external force disappears. Mostly in a tight spiral shape, the two ends are often designed with connecting structures such as hooks and torsion arms, made of high-strength elastic materials such as spring steel. The torsion angle, wire diameter, and free length can be customized, widely used in scenarios that require resetting or torque transmission, such as door and window hinges, mouse rollers, car wipers, toy springs, and reset mechanisms for medical devices.
